About the Methodology:
Only those luxury hotels located inside or very close to ski resorts have been considered for this survey. For every week during February and March, the rate for the least expensive double room at each hotel was established for both Tuesday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday. Taken collectively, these rates resulted in an average daily rate for each hotel. All rates were determined in early January and were drawn from either the main hotel-booking websites or directly from the respective hotels’ homepages. In all cases, the lowest available rate was always considered.
